Aims and Scope
This journal welcomes theoretical and empirical research that addressing the development, applications and impacts of information and communication technologies (ITCs) on individuals, groups, society, as well as cyber law, Internet privacy, and digital divide, etc.
The Journal of Information Society is the official publication of Taiwan Academy for Information Society (台灣資訊社會研究學會) and aims to provide an interdisciplinary forum for the examination of issues concerning the information society, including communication technology, emerging media, digital humanities, cyber ethics, and cyberculture.
The journal is currently housed in the Department of Communication & Technology at National Chiao Tung University. It publishes two issues per year in January and July.
